Anthony Dalton is a Pretoria based artist. He works with conventional objects and imagery, transforming them through unusual techniques into personal icons.
Anthony’s work dwells on the gray areas that exist when commercial art and fine art overlap.
His work seemingly transcends subject matter, but ironically, through it’s deliberate disregard for subject matter, the work is loaded with commentary. His work goes beyond pop art whilst retaining the tongue-in-cheek quality of the pop art set.
